The Intentional Father by Jon Tyson

I completed this book in the beginning of January and I must say if you are a father with a child that has not hit high school yet this is a fantastic book to read with him. It will probably give you some great ideas on how to connect with them and maybe set up a plan on how you’re going to bond with them and grow with them as they go and navigate their high school years. It will prepare them for the things that they’re going to deal with and yeah, it’ll even most likely prepare them for college. How you may ask? This book is definitely based on God and it implements God throughout the book. So if you do not believe in God or Jesus, this may not be the book for you. But if you have some curiosity and are open minded I think this book can really help you as a father. I highly recommend it.
