He Chose the Nails by: Max Lucado

First and foremost, I found this book outside a coffee shop at about 830 at night in Sunnyvale California. Coffee shop was closed. All the chairs were put away. Nobody was there and on one of the tables outside the patio. This book was sitting there. I was heading to a movie and happened to walk by and because nobody was around and the coffee shop was closed. I decided to take it.

And boy am, I’m glad I did. When you start this book, it starts off in such an awkward way. It starts off in it retail store, and a man confused on shopping for women and talking about his childhood and being nervous shopping in the women’s department. Yeah I know this sounds really weird, but follow me somehow Max ties this in to this story and then continues to develop an amazing story about mankind and Jesus in our relationship with him. He gives it a modern twist with modern references and lingo, but what carries it is the truth that comes from the Bible that he also incorporates.

This is a very powerful book and I just finished this today. This is my second book of the year. On scale of 5 books: 📖📖📖
