Early AM Prayer

Early AM Prayer.

Start your day grateful.

There is nothing more peaceful than waking up, getting down on your knees and praying.

Before the sun comes up, it’s silent.

-

Most are still asleep.

-

But you, well…you are having a deep conversation with God.

Everyday after I make my bed, I try and remember the feeling I get when I start my day with prayer.

-

My grandfather taught me this when I was in middle school…he didn’t tell me, he showed me.

-

Every morning I’d wake up for school and see him kneeling at the edge of his bed…shoes by his side ready to be laced up as he prayed.

-

He wasn’t perfect, none of us are…

-

But every morning, he had the ‘perfect’ beginning; and that was Prayer.
